Not quite...
Half of my company received these emails yesterday. Symantec AVF Corporate Edition for Exchange let it through to us, and then McAfee's Email scanner didn't pick up on it. I sent out a bulk email to our staff reminding them not to open the attachment and any others like it. Seven minutes went by before I received a notification from Symantec AVF about the malicious attachment, with the message "The attachment patch-5934.zip was Logged Only." Logged only, nice work Symantec. So yeah, let's just call this article FUD and hope that ZDNet will stop reporting about malicious worms. That's sure to help protect people. I bet if we ignore the problem it will just go away, and then when your computer slows to a crawl it means it's time to upgrade the whole system, right? Keep spreading the ignorance, there isn't enough to go around already.
