Some people just open all e-mails and attachments
I know a few people that open attachments and forward e-mails to all contacts indiscriminately . I have received numerous e-mails containing virus's but fortunately my AV program usually catches them or I simply refuse to open any attachments that I am not sure of . Its a shame the public are not better equipped or not savvy enough to avoid these malicious virus's .
