You are full of more than psych meds.
Look, Junior, I have been in the computer business since before there were PC's, and have known most of the people involved since they only wanted to be gods, instead of thinking they really are. I am anti(sp) "MS-fanboy" - you need to watch your syntax - because anyone that gullible about anything is too dangerous to be allowed near any critical function of a business that hopes to be a profit-making enterprise. I've also been one of the people major customers expected to keep the promises made by the engineers, except when I did it we in marketing could still rewrite the code or reconfigure the hardware to make it work. (I would truly love to hear you peddle one of your Microsoft press releases to Seymour Cray - or for that matter, to Larry Sonsini.)

I'm not, by the way, reflexively anti-Microsoft. I've had considerably more experience with their unkept promises than most, and their products still cause me more day-to-day irritation than others. Push my Apple button and you'll really hear some venom - Steve is much better at designing products than Bill, but Bill has always been the sharper salesman - Microsoft is where it is today because he was smart enough to retain ownership to MS-DOS in the original IBM sale, and slick enough to capitalize on it just as far as he could push it - even if that was well past either ethics or contract law.

That, however, is a long country mile from knowing how to build a competent, professional software business. Those are a few of the lessons they don't teach at ITT Tech, which is about the level you operate on.
