But not opening attachments may NOT be an option. in my workplace it has become commonplace for update files to be attached to emails - whether its a logo file for inclusion in a a project - an Excel file that is actually a mini-database/list - a signature to be printed on a letter - or a revision to a letter itself. You do NOT always recognize the name of this sender.
I am sure there are others in a similar position regarding unknown senders, so a possibility of a problem exists.
