Deconstructing MSpeak
Among the Windows patches is a fix for a zero-day vulnerability
first disclosed in December.

Great, 4 months to fix a "critical" flaw in a system less than a month
old at the time.

Security experts had initially deemed the flaw less serious, stating
it could be exploited only by someone with access to a vulnerable
computer.

ZDNet needs to identify the "security experts" who got this so very
wrong or else uncover the collusion that led them to report a critical
flaw as less important.
