The same old story that goes on, and on, and on, and....
It's getting to be a nauseating story. You would think that by now, these organizations would understand that key personal data (like social security numbers) should not be stored on a laptop. This data, in fact, should be available on only the most physically secure computers.

Employees should NOT be identified in most records with a social security number. Hey IDIOTS! Did you read that sentence? Every employee should have an employee number. The only time a social needs to be used is when printing and reporting W-2 forms, etc.

That some accountant is running around with this info on a laptop is idiotic.
