More info needed.......

What problems (exactly or precisely) are you having, it could be something simple.... maybe, maybe not.....
(Networking, Bad config, changed setting etc)

Can you backup your important data? And move to a restore point? or reinstall?

You may or may not want to hear this...
But have you ever looked at a Linux LiveCD's like Mepis, PCLinuxOS, Knoppix, Etc. Can even be easy & fun for some and a great tool, when windows goes bad, you do not even have to install it, just run off the CD.

Either way more info is needed to provide help & unfortunately ZDnet forums are not often a good place to get it...

It would seem there is a already a patch for the patch, for those who have also had issues.

I don't run Windows, but do fix them.
I would be happy to help if I can......
Or happy to point you in the direction that maybe helpful.
