re: Nothing New
The average pc user isn't even aware that there ARE operating
systems for personal computers other than Windows, much less
that all of the major alternative operating systems are more
stable and secure than anything Microsoft has produced to date.

We reboot our Linux servers about once a year in order to check
the hardware. An old OS/2 machine we still use has been
running continuously for 65 months. Our Mac OS X
workstations are only shut down for major thunderstorms.

The best we can do with Windows XP is about 2 weeks before it
crashes or needs a reboot. (I hear Server 2003 is better, but we
gave up on Windows servers a few years ago, so I can't say.)

But your average pc user has been programmed to believe all
computers can't run a week without crashing.

Poor things, if they only knew the truth.
