Linux? Nothing wrong with Linux if it serves your purposes, if you have enough technical acumen then Linux might be just right for you, and it can be had for free as well. I'm thinking if someone can get by with only using Linux they must be some kind of a nut for not using it.

Or maybe your suggesting Apple? Once again, nothing wrong with Apple if it will do everything you need, although if you already have a PC you would have to lay out the cash for the new hardware and OS, and Apple is not cheap to begin with and replacing your whole system when it wasn't part of your plan is not an option many people can afford. And if you own alot of Windows only software it can be a real pain for many users to deal with the switch to Apple.

On the other hand, if one was to try being real about this, with only 150 websites with this problem, there is less likelihood of striking any one given individual computer then any one given computer user has of getting hit by a car tomorrow. I don't think it would be considered 'sage' advice to suggest all computer users stay away from roads and use alternate routes, through parks ravines and alleyways, to get to their destinations. This is just one more silly and highly obscure Windows flaw of which there are apparently countless dozens, yet I never see anyone I know get hit with the vulnerability, although I am sure it does happen to a scant few here and there.

Switching to Apple or Linux is a fine choice if you have a good reason to do it, this is not a good reason. In fact this with every other reported Windows flaw combined is not a good enough reason without something more substantive to justify switching for the majority of the public.
