Some may think it is harsh.
And in a small way, I probably do to. But, them's the breaks. In my original post, I did say that it should display a message first. Maybe that message could be displayed from then on, when they boot the machine. Make it a forced background or something. However, I don't think these consumers are going to get the message until something bad happens.

Do you think you get your money back if someone gives you a counterfeit bill? Nope. You are out that money. Heck, someone totaled my car. It was paid for, and I had just put ALOT of work into it. Did I get that back? Nope. Blue book value.
