Gotta disagree with you
Yes, Microsoft will pursue a company using pirated versions of their software, as they should. Companies and individuals are very different entities.

As to "the people" getting pirated versions - there a lot of people who obtain pirated versions of software with different backgrounds. As you suggested, many college students pirate and then recommend this software to businesses. Would microsoft be better off if that student hadn't used their software and they hadn't then made a sale to a business? Now for these other people who, according to you, don't even KNOW that they are using pirated software, your solution is to wipe their computers? Not even a warning, when they don't know they are doing something wrong. That seems a little harsh don't you think?
