Still not an issue. Like past exploits the user still needs to be tricked into going to the site or opening the email, both of which are pretty hard to do now that more and more people are becoming computer savvy. I don't see this exploit being heavily used and Microsoft will have a fix soon enough. Not a big deal.

IE 7 protected mode shields the computer against drive-by installations because the browser is restricted to where it can write files.

They have already taken the first line of defense and restricted this vulnerability. Good for Microsoft for taking a proactive approach on security.
