Problem is that the LAW saws you are WRONG
A case near us was similar. The homeowner killed the intruder.

Problem was that the intruder was a drunken neighbor mistakenly trying to get into the wrong house.

The homeowner got 5 years in jail. The court ruled that "excessive force" was used.
