An interesting analogy ...
However, the scenario you describe is called "criminal trespass".

Next time, the guy should just leave the note on the windshield. It avoids the trespassing charge ... but the owner of the car still gets the message.

And it avoids everyone getting the wrong message about the "Good Samaritan".
