Correct, but
MS relies on the customer to do it's debugging. They always have. Why do you think the software goes through so many iterations in technet before it even gets to RC1?

FWIW more and more software companies are going to this. MS pioneered it, but everyone else is copycatting the process.

I do not blame MS totally, but I do blame them for their seeming lack of scruples and product QA just to get the product out the door (ME shudder). Maybe they are changing it with Longhorn, but I doubt it...
