I couldn't agree with you more. In addition wouldn't it be nice if we didn't view an OS as being broken just because a hostile person can invade it and damage the work of the person whose computer is being hijacked? A truly broken OS would be viewed just as one that doesn't work, doesn't do its job. While there are flaws in Windows there are also millions of PCs running it and getting whatever work or entertainment the users want done. This is not as complete a failure as the ranting fanatics try to paint it as simply because it doesn't fit all of their criteria of perfection but they are unable to listen to reason.
