FreeBSD
Anyone who seriously thinks OS X is simply a rebadged version of FreeBSD, or that
Macs are "nothing more than ...PCs with one extra chip" is surely huffing empty
cans of whipped cream.

That's like saying two television shows on two different TV sets are the same
because they're being played on equivalent hardware. Wrong! And if one set is a
Sony XBR and the other is a no-name Taiwan export, even identical programming
sources (the software) won't look or act the same on the different hardware.

IIRC, the only things OS X and FreeBSD have in common are some basic codes and
overall file structure. Don't remember the OS X interface on FreeBSD, or any of the
iLife apps, or even the latest version of the Finder.

Or do you think Windows 3.1 and Windows Vista are the same, just because they
probably share some legacy code and file structures?
