The credibility curve
In the run up to Vista's release we've had ZDnet's erstwhile copy writers ^h^h^h^h^h^ "journalists" unleashing a never ending stream of Microsoft advertising copy. The unblinking eye on Microsoft must have tears in its eyes as "journalists" watch the number of Vista security exploits escalating in perfect tandem with its uptake. THIS is what they have been yammering on about fot he last 6 months? THIS is the much vaunted, safer by design all new Microsoft experience? The fact is nothing has changed, nothing at all. Microsoft's monopoly is in the process of forcing yet another security challenged, exploit rich pile of expensive, Hollywood-centric tat on anyone unfortunate enough to buy a PC in a High St store or "PC World" type outlet.

I wonder, at what point do ZDnet "journalists" realise they have spent the last 6 months writing ad-copy which the product can never, ever mact.

No wonder whole governments are dropping Windows. Too much pain.
