Windows Mail bug may expose Vista users

Sounds no different than any other feeble attempt by hackers. The user still has to click on the link, and that's assuming they even see the email. Today's spam filters are a lot better where these types of emails go directly to the junk mail box.

Microsoft is not aware of any attacks that actually attempted to use the newly reported Windows Mail vulnerability, it said.

No attacks then its no problem. That is what we learned from other operating systems that have had vulnerabilities, right? Between the user never seeing the email and no attacks this is a total non-issue.
