Not really.
First, "all those people" consisted (at the time of this post) of three.

Second, very few people would feel "pretty low and guilty" about making the assumption that Microsoft's security is lacking. They have a track record to make them automatically suspect. (BTW, this isn't a "'we hate Microsoft' band wagon" - it's a realism bandwagon.)

Third, no facts have come out. Most people understand that a press release from Microsoft doesn't constitute a fact.

I don't know that X-box accounts have been hacked because of lack of security - there's been no proof either way. I'm willing to admit - for now - that this might not be a Microsoft issue, but if I were a betting man, I'd play the odds in favor of the gamers.

It all remains to be seen. The rest of us will continue to wait for the REAL facts.
