Which Government are we talking about?
You state: "Logs anonymization does not guarantee that the government will not be able to identify a specific computer or user, but it does add another layer of privacy protection to our users' data."

Which 'Government'? surely if once any one government does determine the individual computer ID's on particular search phrases, that information will then be traded between all those other governments who see value in that data set. If the intention is to deter Governments from profiling users, its pretty pointless. Only complete deletion of the data would solve that problem, if it is a problem happy.

The main drive should be to stop companies and other less scrupulous 'exploiters' profiling users from their searches and reduce the exploiters ability for attack via phishing and coercion activities.
