Why is this important?
I don't understand why people are deeming it soooo important that we get Joe Average "up to speed" or "on board". If Joe's machine gets hacked or hosed..who cares! And if his box is used as a part of a DDOS attack, well, shame on the consumer for buying into a second rate product created by criminals who only care about security only inasmuch as they feel they will lose revenue over the lack of it in their software. Surely their are TONS of terrible drivers out there. However, I don't see a large criminal corporation trying to make sure they can remote control peoples' vehicles so that they can "spare them from harm". And obviously a poor driver is potentially much more dangerous than a novice computer user..so why is this forced "security" so important then?..
