Can't argue that oldschool, but...
I also understand why this would be a good thing for the um, *untrained* PC user. I also see lots of ways it can be abused.

From my perspective, Joe Average user isn't qualified to secure his machine or home network. Someone must do it for him. But as you know, if you get to set up the security on my machine, I can't keep you out. Tis the nature of the beast, has been since the first locksmith appeared.

In honesty, I don't know how you can change that simple truth or that Joe Average needs to raise his skill level a considerable distance. Rock, meet the hard place...
