They don't know. They're still trying to figure out how it's going to work. The word "work" being a relative term when it comes to MSFT products.

The last remaining Windoze box at home "works" because I disconnected that segment of the network from the internet. Now it works fine and stays working. Keep Windows apart from the Internet and it works great.

The sheep bought into product activation but balked on Passport. Should be interesting to see if DRM gains grudging acceptance by the MSFT Sheeple or goes the way of Clippy.
