Sankeoil cured one of my pcs...
I downloaded some of that snakeoil in the form of FreeBSD to one of my older machines and it seems to have completely cured all of its problems. Your results may vary...

Just because vitamin C doesn't "cure colds" doesn't mean it isn't smart to take some if you are coming down with something because it does boost your immune system. Maybe snakeoil (alternate OSs) don't cure the issue, but they do boost your ability to resist infection.
