I tell ya what's funny
What's funny is that you:

A) used a broad generalization to try to posit that all the 'NIXes out there are
undependable, and you completely ignored the insecurity of Windows at the same
time. And then you,

B) parsed the facts regarding the insecurity of Windows down to ONE USER's
EXPERIENCE... that is stated by that one user to be some general conclusion, I
suppose??

So, I suppose that your position is "Save the world and use Windows"?

That IS funny! Good one! grin

The sad reality is that there are LOADS of compromised Windows systems used in
DDOS attacks . Because of the ubiquitous
presence of Windows, it is EASY for malware authors to code WIndows compatible
software to enslave a huge botnet of Windows systems for their use
perhaps you heard of one such situation,
called "Mydoom"? Or... is this the work of
some science fiction writer?

Please, use you eyes and your brain when reading posts. You might see that my
original post was NOWHERE near as belligerent as your reply and -- like I
challenged another idiot who chose not to read and understand my post, properly -
- I also challenge you to prove to us here how a homogenous network -- be it a
Windows, Linux or Mac OS -- is a good thing? Go ahead and try to support the
argument I perceive your trying to make.
