- "Get a life"??
-
Like you have a life being in this here forum as well? lol!
And, I'm trying to be democratic in saying Linux even though I use a Mac AND I
RECOMMENDED BOTH OF THEM. My point is that "ONE OS TO RULE THEM ALL" has
an inherent weakness. Perhaps you missed MY POINT when I said that
"Homogenous networks are their own worst enemy"?? If you tried rubbing a couple
of brain cells together, you MIGHT be able to discern from my statement that, if
more people used more operating systems, this would provide greater challenges
and roadblocks to malware authors and their usual tactic of capitalizing on "human
engineering" (end-user mistakes) to propagate their malware. Case in point:
serruptitiously installable trojans that are Windows compatible will NEVER be a
problem for me nor for a Linux user because most of them are Windows
compatible... and none of them to date are Mac compatible.
So, please, instead of trying to mount a personal attack, why not try arguing that
having a homogenous, ubiquitous operating system in the world is a good thing.
Try that. I dare ya. - Posted by: dropzone@... Posted on: 03/13/07 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
