We've become a society that thrives on negativity

right down to the devices we use, but especially the media. I don't necessarily remember them hyping the need for OSS based on the DST thing, but a number of posters at Zdnet seemed to work it in, especially on MS threads, but then again, they can work MS and their points of view into a story about terrorism, ham sandwiches, and/or polar melt.
