With you knowledge of OS X, you should be sorry
Unlike windows, the applications and middleware are not
welded to the OS. They are modular components, that can be
removed. An IE or WMP flaw is a windows flaw, because
Microsoft says they are part of the OS. This is a problem that is
unique to windows. Everyone else knows how to design a proper
OS. Microsoft jams everything into the OS to preclude
competition, thus they made their own bed.

Another thing you don't understand is this. Mac users are a not
so easily fooled, by misleading headlines on ZDNet. These
"flaws" were not discovered by kids at home. They were found by
persons, that are paid to attack a system. Not some 12 year old
pimply social misfit, playing in mom's basement.

So just because something comes with the OS, if you have the
option not to install it, it's not a part of the OS. No matter what
the Microsoft marketing department says, is part of the OS. How
about you try something, before bashing it?
