Beauty is in the eye...
of the beholder and apparently criticism is as well. I have been a Microsoft OS user since the very first IBM PC and I have never seen them do a thing that irritated me. Every release has been better than the last. People laughed at Windows 1.0, but they bought into Win3.0 and every release after. They sneered at IE1, 2, and 3, but IE4 set them on the path to IE6 and just about everyone on the planet uses that now. (See the Google discussion yesterday for the stats.)

Linux and Apple fans are ever so sensitive to their sorry lot in life, i.e. ignored by the mainstream, and ever quick to fantasize that most people hate Microsoft as they apparently do themselves. But I'm just a regular person, and I love them! LOL!!!
