Apple criticized for security advisories

Biased?

Interesting that both eEye and @Stake list Microsoft as a client.
Every story I've ever read about Apple's vulnerabilities invariably
comes from security consultants hired by Microsoft.

An innocent explanation might be that Microsoft is a client of
EVERY security consulting company out there. If true, can one
hardly wonder why?

The only other explanation is that Microsoft is calling in some
favors under threat of discontinuing a prestige relationship for
these small consulting companies.

It's not that I think Apple has is perfect with regard to security,
but their products don't seem to get compromised nearly as
often as Microsoft products. The other difference is that Apple
releases security patches quickly when vulnerabilities are
discovered - Microsoft only seems to act quickly after
vulnerabilities are exploited.
