true...but one thing i don't get...
True...I can name a dozen solid reasons to choose windows over mac, and i can name a dozen solid reason to choose mac over windows. depends on what you need to do, value, etc.

At the end of the day having several strong choices only benefits consumers and cause both companies to "care" more about the products they put out. Consume choice and open/free markets with multiple viable alternatives is always good.

I guess I sympathize with Mac Zealots more, since the Mac OS has less market share they are fighting for widespread acceptance of a viable alternative in a world that has been largely locked down/monopolized by windows. Having that alternative available ultimately benefits everyone. Now windows zealots i don't get...why? What is the point in trying to crush the "underdog in market share" alternatives instead of encouraging them, it will only encourage Redmond to make windows even better. Closer to bigotry then zealotry.
