- What do you do with an Old console?
-
Used to be you kept them. If you wanted to play NES games you couldn't on SNES. So you had both.
Now you have the console that play older games from previous consoles. I have PS2 that plays all my PS1 games, no need for PS1. I sold the PS1 for peanuts as I saw nothing I could do with and I preferred not sending it to the landfill. Now if I can turn an X-Box in something useful with Linux I'd prefer that to just giving it away after buying an X-Box 360 which will play the X-box games.
Microsoft loses nothing here as people would have already have used thier X-BOX with games that made Microsoft money. The new X-Box 360 now is the revenue chain and any X-BOX game still being released are playable on the X-box 360. So why would it matter if I put Linux on my old X-Box, assuming I had one? - Posted by: voska Posted on: 03/06/07 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
