Abuse is the REAL concern

The possibility for abuse of any individual by the Feds or even your local cops should put the fear of the gods in us all. Why? Simple-What DHS believes is homeland security differs radically on any day of the week. Once governors or local first responders get into the mix---all who would be poorly informed a. Forget local first responders.

The fact that the Patriot Act-as initially passed-gave far too much authority to the Federal Gov. Not suprisingly, the Act was used not to stop any terrorist plot, but far more in plain old organized crime. Drug kingpins-the Mob-take your pick. Somehow Joe and Jane Six-Pack who have done Nothing found their phone were tapped.
All part of "W" Bush using government for the only reason he believes it is useful-mass data gathering. The REAL ID is real BS as anywho with the motivation and finances to attack an American target can do so with ease. The REAL ID is a real bum deal for all Americans. Ben Franklin was right-any man who would give away even a bit of liberty will have neither. Welcome to the Bush show!
