Like this is nothing new...
Norton AV is notorious for naming legit apps, macros and other stuff as being of a viral nature. Years ago, when they were still the owners of ACT!, they flagged GoldMine's (a competeing contact manager) link to Word as being a virus. Several times, mind you.
