Ok Here... EPROM 101
Open the case of your computer and remove the questionable component or device. Local the memory module attached to the item. Usually has a EPROM stamp on it.

1. Take a very sharp pairing-cutting knife to the center of the module and slice, slice, slice and until you cut the module completely in half.

2. Take one half and turn it to a direction in which you can observe the side that was cut.

3. If there are no bubble holes in the material within or it is completed solid, you probably have an infected module and you can just throw away the component or device and buy a new one.

4. If this is too complicated or technical, please call your local Computer EPROM Specialist... they'll assist you for a hefty fee...
