Naive, Foolish, or Games?
Your naive message demonstrates how vulnerable you are. Even if you don't store any personal information on your computer, a well-designed root-kit can get it from you anyway... by tracking all of your internet activity, all of your keystrokes, all of your login IDs and passwords, etc. It could also send email infected by malware to everyone in your address book.

Perhaps you don't do anything with your computer but play games. In that case, yes, you are probably safe from any root kit espionage.

The article was intended for people who have serious uses for their computer. Gamers, like Alfred E. Neuman, need not worry.
