pc='personal' computer

what's personal to you may be different to another. so why wouldn't people put personal info on it? not everyone uses a personal computer just to surf porn. this isn't the issue being discussed here, it's a contaminated system. it is fairly low risk in my opinion tho' as i have been running a unprotected system(s) for 13 yrs and have only been infected once by a partition removal worm. still didn't affect my personal data though, i still have all my financial files and other personal info. as mentioned earlier in this thread, fear and paranoia don't do anyone any good, where paying attention and being alert do.
