So the Security Bashers may say "ha ... look at your freeware tool now" and we can resoundingly say.. "Yup, but now everyone knows, and there is already a fix for it"

there was no hiding behind walls of negative press saying "flaw finder X should work with the maker and not disclose until we're ready" ... not like microsoft.. no no... and its public, no shame, no illusions that obscurity or silence is some form of security... that's what the microsoft's of the world would have people believe ... that you have to be quiet about the flaws until *microsoft* is ready to disclose ...
