Maybe this guy has done us a favor by showing us the government hasn't.
I agree with you up to a point. If he hacked in and then let the U.K/U.S. authorities know, he probally would have gotten a slap on the wrist and some thanks behind closed doors. instead he screwed around for a year and may have messed some things up.
How you would feel if you found out your neighbor was snooping around your house every day for a year because your lock was broken.
