Probably shouldn't
I think his punishment should be a refletion of the damage done and no more than that. He should also be given some thatnks for finding a serious security problem. The network admin(s) responsible should also not be looking for new job(s). I don't think he should get much more than a hefty fine and a slap on the wrist. As an american I'm more pissed that our government would let this happen. Aren't we suppose to have some kind of homeland security by now? What if it had been real terrorists hacking in? What if real terrorists have already hacked in to more sensitive systems and we don't yet know about it? Somebody needs to get on the ball about this stuff. Maybe this guy has done us a favor by showing us the government hasn't.
