- is making spamming unprofitable. Find out who is and what companies are hiring spammers and shut down those companies with heavy fines. Repeal the Can-Spam law and enact a law that gives the FTC some real fangs to go after spammers. Lock out the Direct Marketing Association from watering down tough anti spam laws. This is not a solution but its a step in the right direction.
