- Well said! The US should be sacking the IT admins.
- Well said. Granted this was againt the law (and he has admitted that) the the US reaction, as always, is totally over the top. Why? Simple: to hide what should be a sea of red faces. National Agencies with NO IT SECURITY WHATSOEVER in the age of international terrorism!! My Amazon account has better protection than these systems. The US has been caught with its security pants down and the only way out is to escallate the nature of the prosecution to make this man looks like a James Bond baddie. The IT people involved should be sacked, period. Gary should be tried - BUT FOR THE CRIME HE ACTUALLY COMMITTED - and the fact that he drew to light a set of childish security blunders should be used to offset/reduce his sentance. The US should be thanking him.
