You need to read the details here. The systems he gained access to were ones that had NO ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD! It was BLANK! Would you prosecute your child for opening an unlocked door looking for something? Granted he's not a child, but in the are of ETs, I think his suspicions were justified and I'd like to know what he found.

You want to see someone prosecuted? Prosecute the Admins who were stupid enough not to follow security procedures and have strong alpha-nummeric passwords with characters on "National Security Sensitive" systems!

I work at a university and I'll tell one thing, if any of my systems were that open and unprotected, I would have been fired a long a time ago for HIPAA violations.
