It's going to be a good billing month
Thanks to the worm boys. One of our customers was furious a worm found its way on to their network today, they have anti-virus and keep their patches up to date. But there's always something they don't think about. This time it was a server a contractor put in for the security cameras. Make any third party system conform to standards, but do they listen? Fortunately not. Cha-ching! Keep three or four laptops to loan to contractors and others who want to connect their buggy laptops to the network, but do they listen? Cha-ching! HAHAHAHA!

This latest batch of vulns should make next month equally good, especially if MS rushes a couple security patches out the door. Half their crap will stop working. Patch the web server and it stops talking to the SQL server. Patch the SQL server and it stops talking to anything. Cha-ching!

I'm actually going to be a little sorry when business switches to Linux desktops. The days of easy money fixing microcrap will be over.
