Did you ever stop ro consider that while you go off on a rant about Trend Micro, many people and organizations are perfectly happy with it and don't suffer the problems that you seem to be having. I am a Trend PC-cillin user and I have often had occasions when my computer got SLOW. In each case when I have Exited from PC-cilin (to see if it was causing the slow-down), it has not made any difference to my PC's speed. I then ran several anti-malware anti-spyware programs (now done regularly once a week) and they cleared up the problem (junk cookies, broken Registry links etc). I recommend you have your PC checked out and ceaned up by a professional/expert and then you will find that PC-cillin will work as it should and not cause you problems. Good luck
