Surprised? This is ancient history!
I was mildly surprised to see an article about Trend Micro flaws. I do not recall when I suffered so many problems with them, but it early last year. In fact, by July of 2006, I was so sick and tired of trying to defeat Trend Micro?s bugs and flaws that I went out and bought a new computer!

I now forget the details ? I wasn?t interested in documenting anything ? but it seems that every time I ran my desktop utility (an excellent product, I should mention), System Suite 6 Professional, the name ?Trend Micro? appeared in the list of villains. I realize now that I should have take time to warn as many people as possible by posting a message on the Zdnet message boards. In the future, I?ll do that.

But again ? how is it possible for the Trend Micro flaws to be considered current events? The damage done to my PC was total. By that, I mean that I spent more time by far fixing problems and running AV programs, etc. Strange things continually popped up on my screen. Toward the end, I could do nothing to get rid of some of those popup screens that dominated every thing else. Nothing under the sun would return my browser?s home page to my preferred settings ? it was a nightmare!
