But M$ uses lots of BSD code in their OS too. Must be because their R&D department wants something that works instead of eating their own dogfood. And the Mac GUI? World class R&D means copying Apple?

Then why isn't a clever lad like yourself investing in it? Maybe you could ask M$ for some of that R&D money and use it to make a copy of FF and then sell it like M$ sells IE? Oh, right, the biggest for profit software company doesn't actually SELL a browser. No point thinking about that though. FF is bad because it's a for profit piece of software (that no one buys).
