What problems specifically?
The only problems I have ever heard of are some extensions not functioning the day of the upgrades.

Any broken extensions I had were fixed within seven days of my upgrade.

Extensions are not the responsibility of Mozilla but the extension authors and even they tend to fix their issues faster than MS.

Have you tried Fx 2.0 lately? Have updated all your extensions before/after the update? Were those problems not related to extensions and plugins?
