That's a bit lofty.
OOo MAY be vulnerable in the same ways as Office - especially as efforts continue to make OOo macro-compatible with Office. There is no proof yet that OOo is in any way more bulletproof than Office. We all just hope so.

And as for the code base ... well, it's no secret that there is still much work to be done to improve it from it's current state so performance can improve further.
